General
I graduated from Australian high school in December 2022 (Class of 2023) and planned to commence US university in Fall 2023; however, due to acceptance here in an Australian university plus the major that I want, I decided to attend the University of Technology Sydney majoring in Bachelor of Engineering in Data Science.
I am an 18 years old high school golfer from Sydney (Australia), born on 1 October 2004. I am a member of The Australian Golf Club and a scholarship holder for The Australian Golf Club (AGC) Foundation 2020-2026. My lowest handicap was +1.2, and my current handicap is +0.5. I have played golf competitively at the club level since December 2013 (9 years old). My best score was 64 at the Muirfield GC in the 2020 Harvey Norman Sydney Week of Golf.
My hobbies and interests are playing golf, listening to music, cross country, chess, and math, as my favourite subject. I also have a brother named Aaron Valdy (16 years old), a golfer. We are a third-generation family of golfers – my grandfather is a golfer, and my dad is. Outside golf, I am the content creator of Arkiron.co – a blogging website.
Objective
To become a high-performance student-athlete at the University of Technology Sydney and an elite amateur golfer by aiming to be a plus player (+2) or better by competing in amateur events in Australia and Asia Pacific at the end of 2023.
To accomplish a Bachelor of Engineering in Data Science in 2027.
Have a go to get a tour card and play at the pro tour and beyond in 2027.
